"Telling Satan"

I’m telling Satan I refuse to give in

I’m a child of God and I was born to win

Satan would love to see me in sinking sand

But he needs to know I’m holding on to Gods unchanging hand

Satan wants to see me sad vulnerable and weak

But with all Satan attempts, in the name of Jesus I simply over speak

Satan wants me to fail, he hates when I overcome a life’s test

In everything I put God first and Trust he knows what’s best

Satan has brought so much negativity and drama my way

But what he don’t know it makes me stronger & able to face another day

Satan has made me reach rock bottom with nothing left to do

But, what he forgot I know whose I am, and God will see me through

Through all my situations I tell Satan he is a lie

And he can’t keep me down no matter how hard he try

Everything the devil made crooked God has straighten

I’m walking with Jesus Christ and that’s what I’m telling Satan
