Believing In (ME)

I’m chasing my dreams happiness is what I deserve

They will come true because the word of God, I serve

I have a gift, and I want the world to observe

Some doubt me, and think I’m all talk

But God is ordering my steps, and you’ll see I will “Walk the Walk”

At times I had uncertainties about my expectations

But I will succeed because I’m God’s creation

Through Christ all things are possible, & I will reach my full potential

I have a plan and a purpose and I’ll treat them very Essential

Where I use to have doubts, Now I believe

Everything I’ve dreamed I will achieve

Certain things that were holding me back, I let go & moved on

Now I’m in a happy place, and this is where I belong

I have a long road ahead, but I believe my dreams will be

And I know this because I believe in me
