My dearest Grandfather

"Happy 80th Birthday!!!!!

I have so many memories with you from childhood to this present day. 
As a child I remember you working hard in the field and coming home at night saying who wants some pay. 
Me and Derrick would always race to get you water but Derrick mostly won
So I got my hustle up, Michael would play the piano as I belted out Mahalia Jackson's sone I will be done. 
Derrick may have been faster than me, but I always had a plan. 
When I needed an extra dollar I would tell Michael to play precious lord take my hand. 
Another memory I can't seem to forget I was about twelve years old in a tragic car wreck. I was in ICU  with a tube down my throat 
I was weak and could hardly speak. 
everybody was there but my  granddaddy's face I missed. I asked Phoebe where is daddy she went for you, but you said I just can't see her like this. 
I understood. 
After that day even when I was hurting and you asked how I feel I would say I'm good. 
I know you hated to see me in pain 
Over the years it got funny how quickly you'd run out the hospital room when a doctor or nurse came
I just want to show you that you mean the world to me. 
Only a heart as yours will give so unselfishly.
There is so much you've done for me, I'm so grateful for all the times you've just been there. 
It shows me deep inside you genuinely care.
Even though I might not say I appreciate all you do. 
Richly blessed is how I feel to have a grandfather like you.
Countless things, with patience you taught, 
Unspeakable Joy to my life you've brought.
John Earnest Williamson, a wonderful man, 
You've always believed in me, and knew that I can. 
Wisdom of life, you openly shared, 
Comforted me, whenever I was scared.
It's No secret you have me spoiled rotten as can be. 
Yes. I'm still spoiled at 33. 
Your life brings me cheer. 
You put others needs before your own, you'd give away your last dime, your so thoughtful and sincere. 
My whole life I've watch you show kindness and generosity, and I can honestly say you are what you appear. 
God only promised us three scores an ten, but by his Grace your still here. 
On behalf of our entire family I thank God for your 80 blessed years. 
Your the kind of Grandfather
who's dearer than you'll ever know,
and this is a poetic tribute 
to fondly tell you so.
My dear grandfather, You've always been my hero.
You've always been my pride.
You've always given so much love,
And shown what's deep inside.
I pray to God, every day
I thank him for a spectacular grandfather that has never left my side. Love laughter and generosity  you always provide. 
I'd like to wish you, only the best, 
With my dearest grandfather, I have been extremely blessed.
God worked a special miracle
When He made a "grandfather that's so loving and true"
And I'm so glad that you are mine
I love you so much daddy happy 80th birthday to you.
